The Dollhaus Presents:
A GATHERING SWARM
IN BROOKLYN

by Chris Klapper
May 15th - June 12th, 2004

Bouncing, bobbing, buzzing and jumping, the Dollhaus Gallery comes alive with its newest exhibition entitled SWARM. A highly energetic, interactive playground that's teeming with odd tension and dark humor. Installation artist Chris Klapper returns for her second solo show at this Williamsburg gallery with a nest of strange insect-like baby dolls suspended from the ceiling by cables and springs. A radical departure from the rusted found object creatures she presented in last year's “Experiments”, SWARM is literally bouncing off the walls and in your face. Klapper's overwhelming sense of humor is infectious and you can't help but laugh along with her.
