Anti-Prints - At first blush and from a distance, Waks’ creations appear as mechanically rendered screen prints. Upon further inspection, the viewer will see that these are paintings made up of thousands of tiny bush strokes using viscous oil paint and a “mystery” compound, reminiscent of toxic sludge shipped on barges to “shithole” countries, not used to make fine works of art.
